- All-Star Band busy in Washington D.C.

- The Taft All-Star band performed in front of the Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. The band, which includes students from the Taft Union High school and Lincoln Bands, had another busy day Wednesday . They started the day with a clinic with Col. Arnold Gabriel, retired director of the U.S. Air Force Band. Afterwords, the young musicians went to the National Archives to view the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. They then went Ford's Theater where Lincoln was shot before traveling to the Lincoln Memorial for “our fantastic performance,” co-director Marlene Mudge said. Thursday they will visited the Jefferson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt memorials
