- Bright flowers and koi on Soroptimist Garden Tour
- Posted May 27, 2012 midnight
- Koi, hydrangea and flowers native to the area were just a few of the attractions for the annual Soroptimist Garden tour. This year's tour started at the West Kern Oil Museum, then headed south to Maricopa to the homes of Bill and Linda Friend and Ron and Pat Bracken, then back to Taft to Renee Ginther's home and finally to the Historic Fort for a salad luncheon and home and garden exhibition. About 140 people took part.
