Bowe Cleveland and Danny Romo powered the Lincoln Junior High seventh grade boys basketball team to a pair of wins this week.


On Monday the Lions thumped the Mt. View Tigers of Lamont 44-10 with Cleveland pumping in a game-high 16 points and grabbing seven rebounds while Romo scored 13 points, had three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.


Paul Valencia scored five points, had a pair of rebounds and three steals, Kyle Jameson had three points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals, Jacob Day had a three-pointer and three boards, Christian Hoffman two points, four rebounds and four steals, and Eddie Romo two points, two rebounds and a steal.


James Brummett didn’t break the scoring column but had two rebounds and a steal.
The Lions carried that momentum into a 40-21 victory over Havin Drive of Arvin on Tuesday.
Cleveland and Danny Romo shared high scoring honors with 13 points apiece.  Romo got seven of his from the free-throw line.


Cleveland again led the team in rebounds with seven while Jameson had five to go with his two points.  Jameson also had six steals.


Hoffman had three field goals for six points to go with his three rebounds and three steals.
Valencia had six steals to go with his four points and two rebounds, Eddie Romo had two points and a steal, Day a rebound and an assist and Brummett two rebounds.
