Driver was ejected when car overturned
A Taft man was seriously injured when his car overturned on Petroleum Club Road just South of Kerto Road Thursday night.
Michael Scott Perry suffered a broken arm, possible broken hip and other injuries when he was ejected from his Mustang when it overturned about 8:50 p.m., California Highway Patrol spokesman Justin Olson said.
Perry was not wearing a seatbelt, Olson said.
He was taken by ambulance to Taft Airport then airlifted to Kern Medical Center.
Two passengers in the car were not injured, according to Olson.
Alcohol was not a factor.
