Woman faces assault with a deadly weapon charges
Kern County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a third suspect in the weekend stabbing of a Taft man.
Terri Lynn Fannon, 32, was arrested on Tuesday and arraigned on Wednesday on one count of assault with a deadly weapon.
Fannon is charged along with Thomas George Cowan, 25, and Jerry Thomas Bright, 19, in connection with the stabbing of Samuel James Pierce, 40, on the 100 block of South Street about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Pierce was reported in stable condition at Kern Medical Center later Sunday night with a stab wound to his ribcage.
Cowan and Bright were arraigned on Tuesday and will be back in court on April 30.
Fannon was arraigned on Wednesday and will also appear again on April 30.
A preliminary hearing has been set for May 5 for all thee suspects.
Bail for Fannon and Cowan was set at $25,000 and Bright’s bail is $50,000.
