Event will start Monday, May 4

The Westside Recreation and Park Dristrict will be holding a Hunter’s Safety Course from Monday, May 4-Wednesday, May 6 at the Community Center Auditorium.

With cooperation from the Taft Sportsman’s Club, materials and instruction for obtaining a California Hunting License are available approximately every three months.  A $5 (per person) facility fee is required and registration takes place on the first night of class.  The class is taught in three mandatory sessions.  Instructors are Larry Heptinstall and Ray Mortimer.

The class will take place in the Community Center Auditorium on 500 Cascade Place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. each night.

A minimum of 10 paid participants is needed or the class will be postponed until August.
