Lady Eagles bat around twice on their way to victory
The Taft varsity softball team's return home Tuesday afternoon ended on a disappointing note after the Bakersfield Christian Eagles defeated the Lady Wildcats 10-0.

The second inning rally was only the beginning. In the top of the third inning, the Lady Eagles sent 11 batters to the plate, scoring five runs in the process.
Taft had chances to score in the first and fourth innings, but the Lady Wildcats came away empty handed both times. Bakersfield Christian put away the game for good in the top of the fifth inning on a home run.
