Wildcats get two points in loss to Eagles

The Taft varsity boys tennis team kicked off the final week of their regular season Tuesday afternoon with a 7-2 loss to Bakersfield Christian.

Taft got one of their points in the No.4 singles match when Lukas Reckweg defeated the Eagles Josh Bligh 6-2, 1-6, 10-8. The Wildcats got the second point in the No.2 doubles match after Rodolfo Noriega and Lukas Paelmke teamed up to win 4-6, 7-5, 10-8.

With the loss, Taft falls to 8-16 overall and 1-8 in the South Sequoia League.
