Warriors allow one hit in the victory

It was not the way the Taft varsity baseball team wanted to return home Tuesday afternoon when they lost to the Tehachapi Warriors 3-0.

Tehachapi did their damage in the first and second innings by scoring all three of the runs. Along with the three runs, Taft pitcher Matt Davis allowed five hits while striking out 11 batters.

With the loss, Taft falls to 7-3 in South Sequoia League play.

The Wildcats return to action Thursday afternoon when they take on the Warriors in Tehachapi.
