Both were arrested near CCF on jan. 3

Two Bakersfield men arrested on drug charges near the Community Correctional Facility earlier this month have pleaded no contest to felony drug trafficking charges.
This is the second case of an attempt to get illegal drugs into the prison facility in two months, according to Taft Police.
The defendants, Armando Aparicio, 22, and Erik Alexander Villegas Arrieta, 26,  both entered he no contest pleas to  transporting a controlled substance and  sales of marijuana in Taft branch of Kern County Superior Court on tuesday.
They are scheduled to be  sentenced on March  15.
The men are both still in custody.  Arrieta is being held on $60,500 bail and also faces a felony drug count in Bakersfield and Aparicio is being held on a no-bail parole hold.
They were arrested  on  Jan Taft Police, CCF staff and Kern County Sheriff's deputies after a brief foot chase and  search in the grass fields between Kmart and the CCF.
Officers said the men had illegal drugs in their possession and believe the men were going to try to get it into the CCF.
