God Loves You; Even With all your Junk

God Loves You; Even With all your Junk

God never ceases to amaze me at just how good He really is to me. I have done countless things that are less than pleasing to the Lord, yet He still lets me know that He loves me. Not so long ago I was weeping before the Lord, crying out to Him in desperation because I felt like a complete failure. I had done things I wasn’t proud of and was really having a hard time confronting these issues. The Lord in all His goodness, came over me like a flood and let me know that He was there. His presence was so strong and peaceful. The Lord ministered to me and told me that there was not ANYTHING that I had done that would separate His love for me. He said, “Do you really think I am going to let this come in between us?”

God loves us with limitless, unselfish love. He created us and so He knows are sinful nature. He knew everything we would ever do, yet despite that, He chose us anyway. Did you hear me? God KNEW that you would fall short, He KNEW you would do things that you are not proud of. Yet he still chose you! From the beginning, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5 WOW..how great is that? If we get to the place where we do not feel Gods presence it isn’t because He has left us, usually it is because we have removed ourselves from Him. We let our sin, our conviction, keep us from the loving arms that want to hold us up and keep us strong for Him. You see, the enemy is really good at making us feel like failures. He convinces us that we are worthless and that God could never forgive us for what we have done. But we know, that is a lie straight from the pits of hell! Romans 3:23 says; “For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." That reminds us that God knew we would sin, yet he still loved us and sent his son to die for us. The biggest problems we face with sin is truthfully, sometimes it is pleasing and it makes us feel good so we choose to stay in sin. And we choose to run away from the very person who can and wants to help us overcome it. Mostly, because our sinful nature likes it. But also because we feel that God will not forgive us. Friends, God will and already has forgiven you. If you want all that God has for you, you need to go to him and confront the very thing that is keeping you from Him. Equally important though, is you need to forgive yourself. Give yourself grace and know that you are STILL and always will be, until you get to heaven; a work in progress. “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6. Understand, that nothing in your life will be wasted. God will use every struggle and every hardship to spread the good news and to deliver people out of bondage. Know, that whatever you are facing today, you are NOT alone in your struggle. Both men and women are struggling with the same thing, But remember this about sin; its not a question of CAN you avoid it, but, WILL you? Choose to honor God with every fiber of your being and turn away from sin. Friends, whatever choices you make in life, God may not always be pleased with them, but his love for you is unconditional, and everlasting. Remember, his arms are bigger than any sin you will ever struggle with. *For my dear friend A. Questions? Comments? Email me at mywordshismessage@yahoo.com
