Cause still under investigation

Fire blackened more than 30 acres of brush and grass near Lost Hills Friday afternoon.
Firfighters were sent to a report of a fire about 1 p.m.near the intersection of GP and Holloway roads
Upon arrival, crews found a fire approximately 20 acres in size in medium fuel. Fire crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and were able to hold the fire to a total of 33 acres.
A total of 10 firefighters responded to the incident from the Kern County Fire Department with assistance from BLM.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.  There were no reported injuries to firefighters.
