Three movies showing as Taft's landmark comes back to life
The Fox Theater is reopening Friday night.
Operator Kent Coke cleared the final hurdles and got his business license on Tuesday.
The landmark theater, which has been closed for a year, passed the finals inspections b the Kern County Fire Department and the city and got its business license.
Three movies are featured at the theater:
Friday's show times are as follows:
•The Big Miracle screens at 4:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
•The Woman in Black screens at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
• This Means War shows at 5:30 p..m., 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday's schedule includes afternoon shows:
•The Big Miracle show at noon, 2:15 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
•The Woman in Black shows at 12:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 5 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 10 p.m.
•This Means War shows at 1 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and for seniors over 55.
