Supervisoral candidate David Coach today announced his campaign co-chairs.
George and Linda Martin, Keith and Jennifer Gardiner, Paul and Karen Sturgeon, Bob and Judy Hampton, Stan and Bonnie Ellis, Lou and Sheryl Barbich, Bakersfield City Mayor Harvey Hall and Lavonne Hall, former Kern County Sherriff Carl Sparks and former District 4 Kern County Supervisor Trice Harvey.“I’m grateful to have the support of my campaign co-chairs,” said David Couch. “Their reputations as accomplished and successful business people and community leaders speak for themselves. They have been integral to so many successes we see in Kern County today. I’m very honored by their support and will continue to work hard to earn the support of 4th District residents.”Couch said he will bring leadership and experience from serving as a Bakersfield City Council Member for over 13 years, serving two terms as Vice-Mayor. “Having dealt with those issues that face local government, I will be able to hit the ground running on day one,” added Couch. “Kern County residents need and deserve that.”
Couch is running for 4th District Supervisor which encompasses much of Southwest and Northwest areas of Bakersfield, Taft, Wasco, Frazier Park and other west Kern communities.

David was born and raised in Bakersfield and has lived here most of his life. He is a graduate of Bakersfield High School and San Jose State University where he earned a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. David and his wife have three children. David currently serves the Bakersfield City Council representing Ward 4 and is a First Vice President at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in the Bakersfield branch.
