Annual Ron Shipe-Bob Bledsoe Memeorial includes $2,500 pro race, live band and much, much more

Honolulu Hills Raceway will be hosting a weekend-long fundraiser as the Taft Motorcycle Club holds the fifth annual Ron Shipe-Bob Bledsoe Memorial-Scholarship Fundraiser Saturday and Sunday.
Events will be held both days centered around a full weekend of racing for riders of all ages leading up to a $2,500 pro race on Sunday.
It includes live music from the local band X-Static Saturday night, a spaghetti dinner Saturday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Copper Rose Tattoo will be there and  everybody's favorite barbecue,  Pit Stop Barbecue and Concessions will be serving their polish dogs and  tri-tip sandwiches.
Saturday's racing schedule will be for grand prix and practice.
Gates open at 6 a.m. both days.
Practice is from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday followed by a big bike grand prix, minis and kids ride at 12:30 a.m. and then a quad/side-by-side race at 2 p.m. with  a $1,000 purse in the side-by-side race.
There will be a team pro race following at 3:30 p.m..
On Sunday, practice will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. with racing getting underway at 9 a.m. including a pro race with a $2,500 guaranteed purse.
Gates will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday night and camping is free for the weekend.
There will be a $10 gate fee each day or $15 for a weekend pass.
