Saturday looks to be the best bet for outdoor activities with a high near 70
The the rain chances start Saturday night and rain is likely Sunday and Sunday night.
This storm won't be as cold as the one that blew through the area last weekend, dropping .70 inches of rain in Taft and knocking out power to 1,600 customers.
But some strong winds are possible Friday night with southwest winds from 15 to 18 miles per hour with gusts to 24 miles per hour.
However, a  special weather statement from the National Weather Service does caution that heavy snow is again possible in the Mt. Pinos area and up to  a half-inch of rain could fall in the valley.
Gusty winds are a possibility, too.
The chance of showers is 30 percent Saturday night, increasing to 70 percent for Sunday and Sunday night.
But the rain chances end after that and fair and warmer weather is expected for the coming week.
Sunday's high is expected to hit 60, followed by high of 65 on Monday and 70 on Tuesday.
