Fire burned 250 acres, forced some evacuations
The Ozena fire is fully contained.
The Ventura County Star reported the United States Forest Service said the fire was fully contained about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, 12 hours after it broke out.
The fire forced the evacuation of Ozena Campground, Camp Scheideck and some private homes along Lockwood Valley Road for a time.
The fire burned an estimated 250 acres.?The cause is under investigation.
The fire is located on the east side of Highway 33 and south of Lockwood Valley Road south of the Ventucopa area in Ventura County.
