A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. in the West Side District Cemetery for Kimberly La Marsna, 48. Rev. Joey Pittman, pastor of New Hope A Place to Connect, will officiate at the service and a luncheon will follow in the church annex. Kimberly was born in Taft on March 10, 1964 and passed away on June 29, 2012 in Taft. She was a member of TUHS class of 1982 and graduated from Taft College. She had an outstanding voice and she and David Henderson put on their own concert "This is IT" in high school and it was a smash hit. She was a member of the KC Sheriff CSU unit for two years. Kim was such a warm, loving, kind and funny person and she will be missed so much. She is predeceased by grandparents, Fred and Lucy La Marsna, Berniece and Richard Robison, Joe and Kay Dodge and uncle, Rick Skinner. She is survived by her dog, Rory; her mother and step-father, Dianna and Bill Ballard; father and step-mother, Fred and Dolores La Marsna; aunts and families, Linda Skinner, Mike, Lisa and Brian, Stacey and Steve Gee, Scott and Steven, Tonya and Lynn Newby, Jeff and Kelly and Jon; brothers and sisters, John La Marsna, Mike La Marsna, Clarine and Scott Gilliam, Renee Oliver, Christy and Jim Jarvinen; step-brothers and sisters, Scott and Maria Hughes, Jason Ballard, Dena and Ryan Wissick and Dawn Evans.
