The Santa Maria Times was reporting on line late Wednesday that TUHS Supt. Mark Richardson is going to be chosen to lead the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District.

A San Luis Obispo television station, KSBY, also reported that Richardson had been hired and would start his new job on Oct. 1

"Taft Union High School District Superintendent Mark Richardson will be the next leader of the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District, officials will announce tonight at a board of trustees meeting," Santamariatimes.com reported.
