Officers were sent to a home on the 300 block of Woodrow Street where the child to check the welfare of other children in the home where the two-year-old victim had been living.
Officers responded shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday and spoke with the girls father and other adults in the home and Aranda said none showed any signs of being under the influence of a drug, and a search of the home turned up no evidence of methamphetamine.
