Fees will go up a $1 with a new announcer and introduction song
When the Wildcats play their first football game Friday, fans will notice several changes.
The first is when they enter the gate. This year prices for football only have increased to $6 for adults and students without ASB stickers and children without parents. For students with ASB stickers or children with parents the cost is $4.
Meanwhile the cost to attend for a freshman football game is $2 for adults, students without ASB stickers and children without parents.
Students with ASB stickers and children with parents is $1.
The rest of the sports fees will stay the same with adults, students without ASB stickers and children without parents paying $4 while students with ASB stickers and children with parents paying $3 for volleyball and basketball. Taft is the same as Bakersfield schools in pricing.
Fans will notice several other changes with Donald Thornsberry announcing the Taft High football games this season taking over for Gary Rennie and a different song when the Wildcats are introduced.
