Angela Hanna pleads no contest to 4 counts of willful cruelty to a child. Second-degree murder charge dropped.

The mother of murder victim Trinity Monique Hanna has pleaded no contest to four counts of child abuse in Kern County Superior Court on Monday.

Angela Monique Hanna had also faced second-degree murder charges in the death of her three-year-old daughter, allegedly at the hands of her boyfriend, Eric Foster, but that charge was dropped, according to the Kern County Superior Court website.

Hanna, also known as Angela Vickrey, was arrested on May 8, more than three months after she drove the little girl to a Bakersfield hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Hanna, 30, will be sentenced on Nov. 14. She is still being held on $2 million bail.

Foster, 27 faces charges of first-degree murder, torture and child abuse.

He is scheduled to be in court on Sept. 18 for a preliminary hearing.
He is being held without bail.
