Hodges arrested by police after neighbors see him trying to kick down door
A man arrested after neighbors interrupted what Taft Police are calling a daylight burglary attempt has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Nikolas Stroud Hodges entered a plea of no contest to one count of burglary Thursday in Taft branch of Kern County Superior Court.
Terms of the plea agreement were not disclosed.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 27.
Hodges was arrested by police on Sept. 29 when the responded to a report of a man kicking a door down at the Creekside Apartments on the 400 block of Finley Drive.
Neighbors identified Hodges as the suspect after police located him and detained him, officer said.
