The Taft man arrested and charged with stealing a T-shirt at knifepoint received a two-year prison term Monday in Kern County Superior Court.
Lee Alan Hardy pleaded no contest to one count of felony burglary and the robbery count was dropped in a plea agreement accepted by the court.
Hardy was arrested on Oct. 2 by Taft Police a short time after the crime was reported.
Officers said Hardy was wearing a T-shirt that he stolen as short time earlier right off the back of the victim.
Hardy, 32, had forced his way into an apartment at 1210 N. Fourth St. and was armed with a hunting knife, police said.
