College of the Siskiyous is scheduled to host Chabot in the NCFA Central Division Bowl at noon on Saturday, Nov. 17.

The football season continues for two southern Siskiyou County teams, as Dunsmuir High School is advancing to its second Northern Section title game in a row and College of the Siskiyous is scheduled to host the NCFA Central Division Bowl this coming Saturday, Nov. 17, beginning at 12 p.m. in Weed.

Dunsmuir (11-1) rallied from a 22-8 half time deficit in its Division 6 semifinal at Loyalton Saturday, won the 28-22, and set up a rematch with undefeated Redding Christian, the only team the Tigers lost to during the regular season.

Mid Empire Conference champion College of the Siskiyous, ranked No. 6 in Northern California with a 9-1 record, is scheduled to host No. 10 Chabot (6-4) Nov. 17 at Herschel Meredith Stadium.

The Eagles had a bye in their schedule this past weekend while other teams were finishing their season.

At the top of the Nor Cal rankings, Butte moved to No. 1 by defeating previously unbeaten San Francisco, 31-21 on Saturday. Like Siskiyous, Butte and San Francisco are 9-1, the best records of any teams in the North.

Two teams in the South, Mt. San Antonio and Ventura are both 10-0.
