April 4, 1927 – November 21, 2012

Teresa Margaret was born on April 4, 1927 to Mercy and Charles Hull of El Paso, Texas and passed away on November 21, 2012 in Bakersfield. She was raised in El Paso and was a graduate of Loretto Academy. She went to nursing school but put her career on hold when she married Mr. Paul Evans. Paul and Teresa met when Teresa's sister, Martha, married Paul's brother, Oscar. Paul and Teresa were blessed to have celebrated 64 years of marriage on July 3, 2012. Teresa Margaret loved life and all that was in it. She gave all to the Lord, her family and the Church. She was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Altar Society there. She also taught catechism for many years. Teresa Margaret never met a stranger and was a shining example to all; a real angel on earth. She did work some as an LVN after her children were grown and she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and especially loved her grandchildren. Grandma always had time for a hot fudge sundae at McDonald's. Teresa Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Martha and her beloved husband, Paul. She is survived by her children, Carol Ann Newkirk and husband, Andy of Taft, Michael Paul Evans of Chillicothe, Texas and Charles Franklin Evans and wife, Jennifer of Bakersfield; her grandchildren and their spouses, Walter and Caycee Windes, Andrea and Zak Crabb, Dawna and Matt Melton, Daniel Newkirk and fiancee, Stephanie Carlton, Justin Evans and fiancee Stephanie Jackson, Brittany Evans, Jamie Evans, Daylen Evans, Marlana Evans and Anthony Cullip; her great-grandchildren, Kyle Crabb, Kimber Crabb, Hunter Melton, Walter Windes, Kenlee Melton and Elsa Windes.
