  • Parolee caught hiding under bed

  • 5:02 a.m. – Stolen vehicle. White Chevrolet Avalanche. Last seen Monday night approximately 6 p.m. Incident location was 311 Woodrow St. Report taken.
    8:56 a.m. – Taft city ordinances. Officer initiated activity at Sixth and Emmons Park Drive. Warning.
    9:08 a.m. – Vehicle code violation. Officer initiated activity at taft College, 29 Emmons Park Drive. Completed.
    9:50 a.m. – Animal control. Incident location was 303 N. Tenth St. Animal pickup.
    10:23 a.m. – Officer contacted a subject at Fourth and Supply Row. The subject ran from officers and was later found hiding under a bed in a nearby residence where he was trespassing. The subject was a parolee at large. Arrest made.
    10:51 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances. Incident location was 318 Woodrow. Completed.
    11:02 a.m. – Animal control. Officer initiated activity at 500 south Tenth St. Completed.
    3:38 p.m. – Animal control. Small abandoned do. Animal pickup.
    4:11 p.m. – 911 hangup. Incident location was 400 block of Woodrow. Completed.
    6:22 p.m. – DUI. Incident location was Fourth and kern. Vehicle parked on Kern, unoccupied. Completed.
    10:18 p.m. – Warrant arrest. Officer initiated activity at Seventh and Lucard. Arrest made.
    12:03 a.m. – Assist other department. Officer initiated activity in south alley 500 block of Lucard. Outside assist.
    3:48 a.m. – Extra patrol. Patrol check. R/P advised dogs were barking and gas had been stolen in the past week. Incident location was 500 block of Lucard. Checks OK.
    4:09 a.m. – Extra patrol. R/P is requesting extra patrol in the 300 block of Sunset Lane. She advised dogs have been barking for past hour.
