CBS topped Wednesday despite a series low from CSI.

The long-running procedural drew 9.5 million viewers and a 2.2 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down four-tenths from its last new episode two weeks ago. Lead-ins Survivor (10.2 million, 2.8) and Criminal Minds (12 million, 3.1) were down and up, respectively.

ABC, the usual Wednesday victor, saw its comedies hit season or series lows. Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 (7.6 million, 2.1) was also down from last year's broadcast.

Fox's The X Factor (7.7 million, 2.6) dropped two-tenths.

On NBC, Whitney (3.7 million, 1.4) was the only show to see a gain, rising one-tenth from last week.
