The following day, the Taft teams will return to action against Strathmore at 10 a.m. Taft closes out their tournament run at 3 p.m., when they take on Granite Hills.
Taft’s varsity team will play seven minute quarters and all of their games in the Mullen Gym. Meanwhile, the junior varsity teams will compete in six minute quarters at the Taft College Gym. The freshmen team will play in five minute quarters in the Farlow Gym.
The tournament will be the last non-league games the Wildcat teams will play. They open the South Sequoia League season next week.
