Update: Oliver arraigned, bail set at $1.5 million

Bryan Oliver was arraigned in Kern County Superior Court Monday afternoon and bail was set at $1.5 million.
Oliver, 16, is being charged as an adult in connection with the shooting at Taft Union High School last week.
It was his first court appearance since his arrest.
He faces 2 counts of attempted murder and three counts of assault on a person with a firearm.
One student, Bowe Cleveland, was critically injured with a shotgun blast to the chest.
A teacher, Ryan Heber, suffered a pellet wound but did not require hospital treatment.
A second student, Jacob Nichols, was targeted but not injured.
Oliver's next court appearance is set for Feb. 20 and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 21, according to the Superior Court website.
