The Taft Union High School District has scheduled a special meeting to confer in closed session with an attorney.
The governing board will meet with Arnold Anchordoquy with Clifford & Brown Law firm of Bakersfield just after 4 p.m. Tuesday, less than an hour before a public meeting where district officials and school administrators will meet with parents.
The meeting will be held in the district board room.
The board will convene in open session.
The agenda lists time for reports rom board members and the superintendent, and there is a public comment period.
The comment period allows the public to address the board concerning items on the agenda or matters other than those on the agenda for a period of up to three minutes, 20 minutes per subject if more than one person is addressing the board on the same subject. A blue card (located on the back table in the Board Room) must be submitted to the recording secretary prior to the start of the meeting.
