Suspect apparently turned himself in to Kern County Sheriff
A warrant suspect from Ohio apparently turned himself in yesterday to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
Paul Wayne White, 24, was wanted in Perry County, Ohio, for violating his probation for a 2008 conviction for aggravated vehicular homicide stemming from a crash in 2007.
Perry County Sheriff's investigators asked the Kern County Sheriff's to be on the lookout for White after receiving information he may be in the Taft area, where he has friends and family.
Senior Deputy Josh Nance said Wednesday morning that White had apparently turned himself in.
The Kern County Sheriff's jail website show White was booked into the central receiving facility in Bakersfield yesterday at 2:29 p.m. and is being held without bail on an out-of-state felony warrant.
