Taft College will host Porterville Saturday in a Central Valley Conference women’s basketball game in the Al Baldock Cougar Sports Center.
The Cougars are 3-4 in the conference and 8-14 overall while the Pirates come to town at 3-4 and 6-14.
TC is coming off a 69-63 victory at Reedley College.
Erica Evans led the Cougars with 21 points and 6 rebounds.
Zanoria Echols had 14 points and 6 rebounds, Ramonique Redding 10 points and 3 rebounds, and Schalon Baysinger 9 points and 4 rebounds.
The Cougars hope to get starting center Bezait Anbesse back in the lineup. She has been nursing an ankle injury and missed the last two games.
