Damages alum Gillian Alexy has landed the female role opposite John Corbett in the NCIS: LA spinoff pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.


NCIS: Red will follow a team of mobile agents as they solve crimes across the country. The potential series will be introduced as a backdoor pilot on an episode of NCIS: LA titled "Red" later this season.

Alexy will play Special Agent Claire, an intelligent, athletic, self-proclaimed tomboy who has trained with the top Navy SEALS. She joins Corbett, who plays former NCIS Special Agent Roy Quaid, Scott Grimes as the team's forensic specialist Dave and Edwin Hodge as Special Agent Kai. NCIS: LA's Miguel Ferrer will reprise his role as NCIS assistant director Owen Granger.
