Green got out, identified himself a a police officer, Downs said, then got into his vehicle, a Ford Aerostar minivan, and backed into the delivery vehicle.
He then drove forward, turned around, and rammed the side of her vehicle, Down said.
The delivery driver, a female whose name was not released, drove away and flagged down another motorist, also a delivery driver.
Green drove back to where the victim now and rammed her car again, then got out of his vehicle and tried to open the door to the truck, again identifying himself as a police officer and threatening the woman.
By this time Taft Police and deputies were arriving on scene and Green got back into his van and drove away with officers in pursuit.
The chase ended in the 100 block of Pierce Street when the van was abandoned in the rear of a yard in the west alley of Pierce.
Officers set up a perimeter and began to search.
Green came out into a yard off of Ash Street, where two Taft officers contacted him and took him into custody.
