Injuries appear to be minor, Taft Police say.
Two people were injured Saturday morning when a collision flipped a Jeep SUV onto its side at Second and Kern Streets.
A woman and female child in the Jeep were transported from the scene by ambulance.
There injuries were not severe, Taft Police Sgt. Corey Beilby said.
"It looks live everyone is going to be OK," he said.
The sergeant said the Jeep was eastbound on Kern about 9:30 p.m. when it was struck broadside by a second SUV, a Suzuki, was northbound on Second.
Beilby said the the northbound vehicle was at a stop sign and the driver apparently failed to see the Jeep.
That driver eased into the intersection, hitting the side of the Jeep and causing it to roll over on its passenger side, landing in the westbound lanes.
The driver of the Suzuki was not injured.
