The Rotary Club of Taft's annual Health Fair is known for offering very low cost health screenings and free consultions with medical specialists, and now a new feature has been added.
The Taft Health Fair 2013 will include mammagrams for just $75, Health Fair Director Dr. Vibul Tang announced. That is in addition to $55 comprehensive blood panels.
The fair will be held on April 20 on the Buena Vista High School campus, 900 N. Tenth St., from 8 a.m. to noon.
Among the specialists on hand for the day will be allergist, rheumatologist, cardiologist, ear-nose-throat specialist, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, dermatologist, oncologist, OB-Gyn, ophthalmologist, pulmonologist, rehabilitation therapist, podiatrist, dentist, chiropractor, home health and hospice.
There will also be pharmaceutical exhibits and other services.
First 5 Kern will be there and childhood immunizations will be available.
The health fair is cosponsored by the Taft Rotary Club, Taft College and Taft Union High School.
