The Taft baseball team was able to breathe a sigh of relief and celebrate at the same time after they won both of their games at the Fowler Tournament Monday.
With the two victories, Taft improves to 15-1 overall.
Taft won their first game with a 3-2 victory over Dinuba.
After Dinuba jumped out to an early lead Taft scored the final three runs to win.
Taft had eight hits in the game including Miguel Rodriguez's run scoring double.
The Wildcats found themselves in another battle later in the day before winning 9-6 over Caruthers.
Steven Gee had two doubles in the game.
By winning their games, the Wildcats advance to the championship game where they will face Kingsburg tonight at 7:30 p.m.
