Here's some good news for Little League fans:
The septic tank issue at George Blanco Field is going to be fixed.
Mark Salvaggio, an aide to Fourth District Supervisor David Couch, said Tuesday that a bid has been approved and work to fix the clogged septic system will be done on May 6-7.
That's welcome news for the Little League program.
The restrooms at Blanco Field were closed last season because the septic system was clogged.
They were reopened this year at the start of the season, but no work had been done.
