The No.2 seeded Taft boys tennis team will not have a long road in the CIF-CS Division IV playoffs this year when they kick it off at home Thursday in the semi final round against the No.3 seeded Wasco Tigers.
Meanwhile, No.4 seed Immanuel will take on No.5 Madera South with the winner playing against No.1 seed Central Valley Christian. The winners of the two matches will face the winner of the Wasco-Taft matchup in the championship match next Tuesday.
Taft and Wasco are not the only South Sequoia League teams to be competing in the playoffs. No.1 seed Bakersfield Christian will face No.4 Delano in the Division III playoffs.
