That ticket, sold at the 7-11 at 1124 Sixth street, matched five of the six numbers in Saturday night's Powerball drawing for a record $600 million.
The ticket sold in Taft matched all but the powerball.
One ticket sold in Florida won the jackpot for its owner.
The Taft ticket was one of two that matched five of the six numbers sold in California.
The other was sold in a 7-11 in the San Jose area.
The winning numbers were 10, 13, 14, 22, 52 and Powerball was 11.
