Jerry, like his father, was a skilled and meticulous craftsman who could fix anything and was always willing to offer his expertise. After an early career in the mosquito abatement and pest control field, Jerry earned his plumbing contractor's license, the profession from which he retired. He loved and cherished his family and friends. He pursued many activities with them including building Teardrop trailers and beach buggies, clamming at Pismo Beach, hunting, fishing, camping, jewelry making, traveling, woodworking and his favorite hobby gold prospecting.
Jerry will be dearly missed by his family and friends and by his beloved pets Bailee, Barnee and Buddee.
Private interment will take place in the West Side District Cemetery. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in Jerry's memory to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Erickson and Brown Funeral Home, Taft, California.
