He's Bernardo Valenzuela, currently assistant principal at Indio High School

Taft Union High School has a new principal.
He is Bernardo Valenzuela, who is leaving his post as assistant principal at Indio High School in Indio, Ca. to join the Taft High administrative team.
He is replacing Marilyn Brown, who is retiring after a lengthy career at the school as a teacher, administrator and principal.
Valenzuela's contract was approved by the TUHS Governing Board at a special meeting Monday morning.
He was chosen by a screening committee that made a recommendation to Superintendent Blanca Cavalos.
The Governing Board also approved $5,000 in moving expenses for Valenzuela.
