Saturday will hit 104 or even a little higher
Get ready for a hot day on Saturday.
The National Weather Service says we are going to have a warming trend through the end of the week that will peak on Saturday with highs around 105, maybe even a little hotter.
That comes on the heels on a predicted high of 102 on Friday.
The heat will be short lived, however.
Low pressure is supposed to start influencing the area on Sunday dropping temperatures about 10 degrees in 24 hours to the mid 90s with a little more cooling coming Monday and Tuesday to the low 90s.
Highs will be in the mid 70s Friday and Saturday before backing off to the 60s by Sunday.
Sunday night could even be a little windy on the west side of the valley, the NWS says.
