Man and woman booked after probation search in South Taft. They are also charged with child endangerment.
A probation search of a South Taft home led to the arrest of two people of drug dealing charges and the seizure of about a half-ounce of methamphetamine, the Kern County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday morning.
Deputies went to the house on the 1000 block of Stevens Street about 9 p.m. Monday and, during the search, located the meth and other items indicating sales were taking place, a news release said.
Deputies arrested Alex Vasquez, 43, and Gerri Cabella, 44, for possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment.
They were booked into the Taft Jail.
Two others people at the home, James Flippen, 31, and Terry Wade, 35, were also arrested.
Flippen was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance and Wade was charged with possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Flippen and Wade were released on citation.
