Sheriff's Rural Crimes Unit investigates several more thefts
Thirsty thieves stole drinking water from the McKittrick area and others took copper wire, compressors and even a pickup truck in the lastest thefts on the Westside under investigation by the Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes Investigations Unit.
Here is a quick rundown:
•Unknown suspects forced entry into a business located in the 24800 block of Highway 33. Loss was a small amount of drinking water. •Approximately 150' to 200' of ¼" copper wire was stolen from an electrical panel located near Gardner Field Road and S. Lake Road. Contact Brunsell if you have any information regarding this theft. Refer to case #SR13-18080.
•Two portable Dewalt 200 PSI air compressors and a Dewalt 20 gallon air compressor were stolen from an oil field located in the area of Crocker Springs Road and Mocal Road. Contact if you have any information regarding these cases. Refer to case #SR13-18463 and #SR13-18926.
•A 1994 gray Chevrolet pick, California License #4X19236, with a welding platform and welder attached was stolen from a job site located in the area of General Petroleum Road and Holloway Road.
