  • Another flash flood warning has been issued for the Pine Mountain Club area. Thunderstorms were causing flash flooding at about 3:30 p.m.
    The warning will stay in effect until 6:30 p.m.

    SOUTH CENTRAL KERN COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA...
    * UNTIL 630 PM PDT
    * AT 320 PM PDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLASH
    FLOODING FROM A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WARNED AREA.
    * LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PINE
    MOUNTAIN CLUB
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
    FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR
    IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED BRIDGES...
