Deputies said woman arrested with meth in her bra in August had the drug in her panties this week
A Taft woman arrested on August 18 on drug trafficking charges after Kern County Sheriff's deputies said they located methamphetamine in her brassiere has been arrested again on drug trafficking charges.
This time deputies said they located about a half-ounce of the illegal drug in her panties.
Charlotte Ridenour, 48, was free on bail from her first arrest when a deputy stopped vehicle on Highway 119 near Ash Street on Sept. 4 because it matched a possible suspect vehicle from a burglary Taft Police were investigating.
During the stop, it was learned that Ridenour was driving on a suspended license.
When she was arrested, a female deputy conducted a search and located 13.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, deputies said.
A switchblade knife was also located, according to court and jail records.
Ridenour was booked into the Sheriff's central receiving facility in Bakersfield and charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a switchblade, driving while license was suspended and driving an unregistered vehicle. Her bail is $30,000.
Ridenour is still facing charges from the August arrest. Deputies said they found 35 ounces that Ridenour had placed in her bra.
