Highs in the low 80s, lows in the 60s

Fall starts officially next Sunday with the autumnal equinox and it looks like the weather is going to reflect the change in seasons.

By the start of next week, overnight lows could be dropping below the 60 degree mark for the first time since last spring.

Temperatures in the Taft area will cool at midweek before a short warmup Thursday and Friday, then drop by more than 10 degrees by Sunday.

Highs Tuesday and Wednesday with be the upper 80s before warming to 93 on Thursday and 91 on Friday.

The cooling starts Saturday with a high of 85 after an overnight low around 60.

Sunday will start cool with a low of 59 followed by a high of 82.
