The Taft junior varsity football team celebrated their final non-league matchup of the season Friday afternoon with a 37-0 victory over Corcoran at home.
Taft got their offense going in the first quarter by scoring on a 37 and nine-yard run touchdown run. Add in the extra points and the Wildcats led 14-0.
The Wildcats turned up the tempo on offense in the second quarter by scoring three touchdowns with the final one coming on a 38-yard run with 12 seconds to go in the half. Taft's offense took a break in the third quarter with the only score coming on a safety.
Taft's offense came to life again in the final quarter with a 30-yard touchdown run.
